MILK TOFFEE - Making of Milk Toffee
◆ Ingredients
● Sweetened condensed milk - 1 tin
● Water - 1/2 tin
● Sugar - 225gm
● Butter - 30gm
● Nuts - 55gm
◆ Method
1. Cook milk, water and sugar together to a toffee consistency 115°c (about 240°F).
2. Add butter, pour on to a buttered slab.
3. Roll out evenly, mark into squares and cut when cold.
N.B. 1 tbsp of liquid glucose can be added with milk, water and sugar to get a smooth texture.
