DOUGHNUTS


Ingredients

●Refined flour - 225 gm

●Baking powder - 11/2 tsp

●Sugar - 55 gm

●Egg - 1

● Cold milk - 100 ml

● Vanilla or Powdered cinnamon - few drops


Method

1. Sift flour and baking powder. 

2. Rub in fat. 

3. Beat eggs. Add milk and flavouring.

4. Mix flour with egg, milk and salt into a smooth dough.

5. Turn it onto a floured board.

6. Knead lightly and divide into 10 portions.

7. Cut into doughnuts and fry in smoking hot fat until golden brown.

8. Turn doughnuts onto a paper which has been sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon OR dip in chocolate.
