Red Velvet Cake with Cream Cheese frosting




* Ingredients


  ·    Butter – 88gm
  ·    Sugar – 225gm
  ·    Egg – 1&1/2
  ·    Flour – 188gm
  ·    Cocoa powder – 11gm
  ·    Salt – 3gm
  ·    Baking soda – 1tsp
  ·    Curd – 188gm
  ·    Vinegar – 5gm
  ·    Red colour – 1tsp

* For frosting

  ·    Cream cheese – 150gm
  ·    Curd – 1tbsp
  ·    Milk maid – 2tbsp
  ·    Whipped cream – 50gm
  ·    Soften butter – 1tbsp
  ·    Vanilla – 1tsp

Method

  1.    Cream together butter and sugar till light and fluffy.
  2. Sieve all the dry ingredient i.e. flour, soda, salt and cocoa powder.
  3.   Add egg till at a time to cream mixture.
  4.   Add beaten curd and vinegar.
  5.   Add flour and combine.
  6.    Add color, pour the mixture in greased tin and bake at 180degree Celsius for 25-30min OR till done.

  #  For cream cheese frosting

  1.  Combine cream cheese, milkmaid, curd and butter together.
  2. Lightly fold in whipped cream and vanilla.
  3.Chilled for 1/2hr before using.

AssemblingRemove cake from tin cut in layers, apply frosting in between of layers and top of cake & keep in freeze for 15min.
