Profit rolls



⇒ Ingredients

*For pastry

  • Flour – 75gm
  • Salt – pinch
  • Butter 75gm
  • Water – 3/4cup
  • Sugar -1tsp
  • Eggs – 2

* For chocolate sauce 

  • Chocolate – 125gm
  • Butter – 35gm
  • Water – 90ml


* Method

  ·    Sift flour and salt together.
  ·    Put butter, water and sugar into sauce pan and heat gently, till butter melts and raise the heat and rapidly bring mixture to boil. 
  ·    Remove pan from fire add all the flour at one, stir quick with a wooden spoon flour absorb all liquid return to heat and stir until a smooth ball is formed and leaves a sides at the pan.
  ·    Allow the mixture to cool a little.
  ·    Beat eggs till fluffy, gradually mix egg and heat till egg are well mixed, the choux pastry should be thick enough to hold its shape but not stick.
  ·    Spoon choux pastry into piping bag.
  ·    Pipe small balls on baking tray.
  ·    Bake in oven at 200degree Celsius for 25min.
  ·    Remove from oven place each ball with skewer to escape steam.
  ·    To make sauce melt chocolate, butter and water in sauce pan stirring till smooth.
  ·    Pile profit rolls on serving dish and pour the sauce over it.
